Juicer – RPM Speed

There is a lot of hype going on about juicers currently. Everyone is jumping on the health bandwagon and talking about the benefits of drinking juice, especially on an empty stomach. My neighbour, for example, makes her family drink the strangest concoctions ever. When choosing a juicer, health nuts should always look out for the RPM speed.  The best juicers have low speeds. This is because when the juice heats up due to the machine spinning quickly, oxidation happens at a higher rate. A lower speed means that the motor is spinning slowly enough to prevent the juice from heating up. This will also mean a slower juicing process though.
