Drinking Tea For Good Health

Drinking tea has always been synonymous with the East but is fast gaining popularity in the West due to extensive studies done, proving their health benefits. There are 3 main types of tea, namely black tea, oolong tea and green tea. However all are harvested from the leaves of the  Camellia sinensis tea plant. Green tea from Japan is free from oxidation due to the way it is processed. Once picked, the leaves are steamed. This stops the oxidation process. The leaves are then dried. Then they are either packed as loose leaves or grind into powder and sold as powdered green tea.
